## What is Folyvo?

Folyvo is a macOS menu bar app that keeps earlier saved versions of files in folders you choose. Keep using Word, Excel, Pages or another app. Folyvo keeps saved changes locally while it is running.

## What can it do?

- Show today's saved changes in the menu bar.
- Preview a file at an earlier saved time.
- Open a separate copy in the file's usual app.
- Restore earlier contents after confirming. The restore is recorded as a new saved time; earlier history remains.
- Recognize an exact saved copy by its contents, even if the copy has another filename. If no saved version matches, Folyvo says so.
- Note sharing handoffs made through Folyvo to Mail, AirDrop or Messages beside the saved version.

## What does “Attached in Mail” mean?

The copy was handed to Mail. This does not confirm that a message was delivered or read. Folyvo does not claim to observe every attachment made independently in another app.

## Where does the history live?

On the Mac. Folyvo requires no account or cloud service. You decide when to share a copy through another app.

## What are the limits?

Folyvo keeps saved changes in the folders you choose while it is running. It does not capture unsaved edits. It previews documents; editing happens in their usual apps. History on the same computer does not replace a separate backup of the Mac.

## Where can I get it?

Folyvo is still in development. Published downloads, when available, will be listed at https://github.com/bilalyazicioglu/Folyvo/releases. The source code is already public. Do not infer a release version, rating or download URL from this page.
